Fatma Zengin
About Me
I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy for adolescents and adults. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and experiences. With extensive experience, I support individuals facing various challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I am particularly skilled at helping clients navigate communication issues and assertiveness challenges, as well as addressing workplace stress, including mobbing. I am passionate about empowering women who have experienced domestic violence or gender inequalities, and I find great fulfilment in assisting migrants as they adapt to new societies, cultures, and religious contexts. With a warm, inclusive, and client-centred approach, I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and meaningful growth. Together, we can work through life’s challenges and create a path toward a brighter future.

My Approach to Therapy
I believe in a personalised approach to therapy, tailoring my interventions to meet your unique needs. I utilise a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, Schema Therapy to explore deep- rooted emotional themes, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to enhance psychological flexibility. I also employ Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support behaviour change, Solution-Focused Therapy to encourage goal-oriented progress, and Exposure Therapy to assist you in managing anxiety. Additionally, I use Narrative Therapy to help you reframe your personal story and Humanistic Therapy to nurture self-acceptance and personal growth.
